What happens if they take over?

What will happen if they take over? It is a question you need to consider.
We grew up in a country that was free and full of opportunity. There was a bright future and we always thought the dangers of extremism was "over there" far from our shores. Now, the Democrat party, and some in the Republican party has been unquestionably infiltrated by Marxists and communists with radical agendas. While we were all distracted with our own lives, focused on our families, work, bills, relationships, hobbies etc., these radicals have been diligently working to spread their message, gain power and hone their political skills. We have taken for granted that our freedoms would remain and that our constitutional rights would protect us from an abusive tyrannical government. We didn't feel much of a need to get active and counted on others to be the guardians of our liberty.

Times, and the political situation, have changed and no longer do we have the luxury of not participating directly in the political process of our country. To say your life as you know it is in jeopardy would actually be a enormous understatement.
The reason I say this is based on the actions of communists when they take over a country; what they have done EVERY TIME when they have wrestled freedom away from the people.
Places such as China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Yugoslavia, Latvia, Lithuania, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cuba, North Korea, Honduras and many other countries around the globe are perfect examples; in each of these, once free countries, the end results was brutal killings of those that love freedom. People were ripped from their beds in the middle of the night and usually taken to a hole on the edge of the village and shot in the back of the head. Some were sentenced to political reeducation camps where they were beaten, abused, starved and worked to death. The death toll from communism is enormous! They are directly responsible for the deaths of countless millions in the last 50 years alone.

They literally slaughter the citizens they think are a threat to them, the activists, those who have educated themselves in an ideology outside of Marxism, those belonging to political parties or organizations (Constitution Party, Tea Party, NRA, Freedom Works etc), those who have supported (donated) candidates that are "revolutionaries" such as Ron Paul, those who have displayed bumper stickers on your car that signifies your beliefs in liberty, Christians and those who have checked out from the library or purchased material on subjects or by authors that are espousing freedom, these are but only a few ways you can be singled out and branded a "reactionary" or "counterrevolutionary".

For any that doubt that the communists would ever do such activity here on our soil is severely naive. Educating yourself on the atrocities committed by these tyrants when they get power could enlighten you. They lack common decency towards life and in fact teach violent reprisals against their ideological enemies (you and I). They even punish the family members of their political enemies because you may have influenced their thinking.
There will also be those naysayers who refuse to believe that communists are trying to take over our nation, they think when the Berlin wall fell so did communism. That they (communists) all magically agreed capitalism and democratic republic forms of government were best.
Compare the communist manifesto to the current agenda of one of the political parties in charge now and make your own determination of how similar they are.
Undoubtedly they are trying to alter the course of our nation and remove the direct power over our government you and I have that our founding fathers entrusted us with.

There are some that think so long as they have a right to own a firearm they have nothing to fear, because to them when tyranny comes they will go out in the streets and fight like in a bad Chuck Norris movie from the 80's and once again freedom will be restored. Well the reality is your shotgun, nor your deer rifle will have any effect against today's police and military equipment. Such military hardware leaves the armed citizen at a severe disadvantage. So waiting to the point where the only recourse is use of force would be suicide.

Never before in our lifetimes has our own future and those of our loved ones been in such peril. You no longer have the luxury of only being a computer chair activist. In this day and age with large databases containing a wealth of information on you from where you shop, what you buy, who you call, what websites you visit, postings you have made on the internet, what candidates you support, what organizations you are a member of etc. There is no where to hide. Such databases give an insight into our minds that has never existed before, it is every tyrants dream to have such knowledge.
Your back is against the wall, you have no choice but to get active and push back against them. You must stand up. You must move those barriers that have been hindering you from participating fully in defending freedom.

I am not saying this to scare you. It is simply the unfiltered truth and you need to hear it. Cowering will not help, it will have the same reaction as when a child cowers from a bully, the abuse gets worse. Your choice is simple, you must engage in the public discussion while you can. You must diligently work to inform others, attend hearings, meetings, canvas neighborhoods, forgo all but the most important things in your life while you do what freedom requires. Help restore this republic, help restore our future, while you still can.

Your cap gun v. a tank

As uncomfortable as it may make some, the founding fathers intended for the second amendment to be a last resort safeguard against tyranny where the people could throw off the shackles of a tyrannical government and rise up if all other checks and balances failed. It wasn't created to protect your hunting rights or your hobby of collecting firearms. (Nothing wrong with either)

In the days it was written there was an even match on the battlefield, the soldiers had the same weapons as the farmer/citizen (minus field cannons), a simple flint musket.
Today it is no longer an even match up; the government has tanks, planes, armored vehicles, machine guns, rockets and a host of other mass destruction weapons. But we as citizens are limited to small arms weapons that would in essence be useless in a revolution. Of course the founding fathers could not have envisioned such machinery as exists today. So in the spirit of the 2nd amendment, should there be laws restricting the possession of RPG's, heavy machine guns and other hardware that would again put the citizenry on a level playing field with their government as was the intent of the founding fathers?

You might be thinking the Vietnamese did a hell of a number on us during the war. That they did, with Russia and China supplying them with heavy arms. We have shotguns, deer rifles and the occasional "assault rifle". Those against an Abrams tank? Well, I would rather be in the tank.

So clearly a revolution would be mass suicide. But, don't get me wrong, I am not saying raise your hands now and surrender, just that we need to think this through.

What is the answer?

Do we work diligently and make sure our own soldiers will never turn on us and obey any illegal or unconstitutional order?

Or should we prohibit local law enforcement from owning/using $250,000 armored personnel vehicles, Kevlar helmets, stun grenades, and bullet proof shields to use against the civilian population?

Better yet should we have our own state ran and funded militia, answerable only to the state house of representatives and the governor of each respective state? This has already been in place for 234+ years, and found in many state constitutions. Perhaps this would be an effective counter to any tyrannical oppression by the Federal government.

Always the best choice is to have a non-violent and orderly revolution where we restore the constitution, but throughout history governments have turned on their citizens and committed horrendous acts against men, women and children. I am not advocating the over throw of the government but merely the preparation for defense.

Around the world hundreds of millions died as a direct result of their own governments actions in the last century. To name a few of the butchers, Stalin, Pol Pot, Ho chi Mien, Hitler, Mussolini and many, many others who indiscriminately killed their own people. To think such acts could never happen here is extraordinarily naive. Once the government is allowed to disobey the constitution then the slippery slope towards tyranny has began.
